The Chair of Philosophy
The date of opening is September, 1952. The Chair provides lessons on Philosophy with students from all the faculties.
Since 1987 it has done educational and methodical work with post-graduate students to pass the candidate exam in Philosophy. Since 2006 lectures and seminars have been done due to the new educational course "History and Philosophy of Science". Educational programmes for post-graduate students, questions for the exam, the list of scientific works are constantly up-graded.
There is a methodological seminar at the Chair, scientists from other Universities are invited there. The Chair takes part in work of Yaroslavl Office of the Russian Philosophic Society.
